At least 200 Palestinian children are still in custody, 26 of whom held under Israeli policy of administrative detention which means imprisonment without charge or trial, the Palestinian Prisoners Society said.
After seven weeks of Israel’s brutal onslaughts against the besieged Gaza Strip, both sides agreed to a Qatari-Egyptian-mediated ceasefire that included exchange of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails with the Israeli captives held by Hamas resistance movement.
The ceasefire began on Friday morning under which Israeli authorities agreed to release of 150 Palestinian prisoners, including children. Thirty-nine Palestinian prisoners were released on Friday, including 17 children.
The following video shows the moment two young Palestinian prisoners, Dujana Abu Atoun and Omar Abu Mayaleh, finally reunited with their families following a prisoner swap deal between the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas and Israel regime.

The Israeli army has detained 880 Palestinian children since the start of this year, some 145 of them detained last month.
Meanwhile, the Defence for Children International - Palestine has reported that Israeli forces detain, interrogate, prosecute, and imprison 500-700 Palestinian children between the ages of 12-17 each year.
Now the question remains on the fate of the 200 children still in Israeli jails dozens of them kept under administrative detention.
