Iran’s major Islamic unity center has issued a statement following the twin blasts targeting the fourth assassination anniversary of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani in Kerman to deplore the deadly attack that left more than 80 people dead and over 280 others wounded, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The statement added that the incident, planned by world’s biggest oppressors stands for desperation of the enemies of Islamic revolution and Islamic resistance in dealing with the uprising of the Islamic nation.
Iranian Islamic unity center expressed condolences with the Leader of Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Khamenei, Iranian nation and the bereaved families of the victims killed in this incident. According to the media Daesh terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
The statement deplored the terrorist attacks and massacre of the civilians in Palestine, Iran, Iraq and other Islamic lands calling on the international bodies as well as the security and judiciary officials in Iran to take preventive measures against perpetrators of these attacks.
The mass funeral for more than 80 people killed in Wednesday twin blasts in Kerman was held in Imam Ali (AS) Mausoleum in the city of Kerman on Friday. People across the country held rallies following the Friday prayer to decry the deadly bombing and chanted slogans against the United States and Israel behind such catastrophes.
