The head of Iraqi Sunni scholars’ union has condemned as “shameless” the recent terrorist attack in Iran’s southeastern city of Kerman.
Sheikh Khalid al-Mulla, in a post on his X account, deplored the recent terrorist attack that killed more than 90 people, most of them women and children, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Iraqi cleric offered condolences with the Iranian nation and government and expressed hope for speedy recovery of those injured in the incident.
Twin bomb blasts, happening minutes apart, targeted the people attending the fourth assassination anniversary of the top counter-terrorist commander, General Qassem Soleimani on Wednesday.
The initial number of fatalities has risen to 91 due to the critical condition of some of those injured.
