The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has lauded the prominent Afghan cleric Maulavi Gholam Mohammad Najibi Karoukhi for promoting morale of unity among different ethnical and religious groups in Afghanistan.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari has issued a message to offer condolences with the Afghan nation and the bereaved family of the renowned Afghan scholar, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” Great number of the people in Herat and Karoukh have enjoyed the knowledge and teachings by the cleric.”
 
Late Maulavi Gholam Mohammad Najibi Karoukhi was the prayer leader of Jame Mosque of Karoukh, Herat and senior member of the council of western Afghanistan scholars.
 
A prominent scholar, mystic and poet from Herat, Maulavi Karoukhi passed away due to illness. He was widely known for his moderation views.
