The topic of unity among Muslims and proximity among all Islamic denominations has been a constant concern for late Sheikh Mohsen Ali Najafi.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, the Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued a message to express condolences over the passing of Ayatollah Sheikh Mohsen Ali Najafi, proximity figure from Pakistan, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The late cleric was the founder of Jame’at-ul Kawthar seminary and a prominent professor of theology.
The Iranian cleric said,” Late Sheikh Mohsen Ali Najafi learned from prominent professors like Ayatollah Seyyed Abul Qassem Khoei and Seyyed Mohammad Baqer Sadr.”
He added,” The great endeavors and contributions for the underprivileged in different arenas brought his the title “Mohsen (Benefactor) of the Jafari Nation.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari noted,” The topic of unity among Muslims and proximity among all Islamic denominations has been a constant concern for late Sheikh Mohsen Ali Najafi.”
According to the Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, foundation of Jame’at-ul Kawthar seminary, jame’at Ahlul Bayt (AS) and the Osveh educational complex were among the valuable measures by late Najafi.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari expressed condolences to the Pakistani elites and the bereaved family of the late scholar.
