Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, speaking at the opening ceremony of the international conference on “ Al-Aqsa Storm and Awakening of Human Conscience” said any cooperation with the Israeli regime is haram (forbidden) urging the Islamic countries to boycott the child killing Israeli regime, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The cleric stressed importance of support for the Palestinians under Israeli onslaught and emphasized the operation al-Aqsa Storm stands as the revenge of the oppressed nation for more than 70 years of Israeli atrocities.
The senior scholar called the issue of Palestine as the unifying topic and a turning point in the world of Islam and reiterated that any ignorance or silence in regards to the issue of Palestine is against human conscience.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari condemned the Israeli regime for killing the Palestinian children and women in the Gaza Strip and urged for the humanitarian aid for the civilians trapped in the besieged territories.
The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought also slammed the United Nations Security Council for failing to fulfill its responsibilities in regards to more than three months of Israeli atrocities against Gaza and called on the member states to fulfill their duties without any political binding.
The cleric also denounced the recent UK and US atrocities in the Red Sea and warned against expansion of war in the region.
He deplored that United States for supporting the crimes by Israeli regime and also its efforts that hindered ceasefire in the Gaza Strip referring to the veto of the ceasefire resolutions at the UN Security Council.
The Iranian religious figure stressed support for the October 7th Operation al-Aqsa Storm and the ongoing resistance by Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Iraq and Lebanon.
He hailed South Africa for taking the case of Israeli genocidal war on Palestinians to the International Court of Justice in the Hague calling on all to introduce the perpetrators in the Israeli bloodshed in Gaza.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari warned of Israeli efforts for forced displacement of the Palestinians and condemned any move in line with relocating Palestinians out of their lands.
He hailed a proposal by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei for formation of a system based on referendum that maintains the sovereignty of the Palestinians.
The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought for the effectual presence of the people in different countries in solidarity of the Palestinian people under Israeli onslaughts and called for continuation of the support for the oppressed people in the besieged Gaza Strip.
The once day international conference entitled “Al-Aqsa Storm and Awakening of Human Conscience” is underway in the Iranian capital Tehran with more than 150 thinkers and intellectuals from across the world of Islam in attendance.
