The Israeli occupation forces (IOF)have conducted overnight raids across the occupied West Bank detaining a number of Palestinians since early hours on Tuesday.

In Jenin, the IOF arrested five Palestinians after violently breaking into their family houses in Ya`bad town in northern occupied West Bank.

Also, in the northern towns of the occupied West Bank, similar raids were reported in Jalboun, Arraba and Faqoua. An ex-prisoner was detained in the Jalboun raid.

Two more arrests were carried out in Qalqilia, while 16 Palestinians were rounded up in Ithna and Dura towns in al-Khalil.

In Nablus, a Palestinian was injured by an Israeli shrapnel in the Askar camp, while another was brutally attacked and beaten in Jabal Gerizim Street. An ex-prisoner was also detained at a military checkpoint in the city.

Meanwhile, dozens of Jewish settlers attacked and smashed Palestinian vehicles in Sinjil town, north of Ramallah.

The IOF also carried out violent raids throughout Jericho, while clashes erupted in Tulkarem and Bethlehem.
