The interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran has emphasized Palestine as number one issue for the world of Islam condemning the US-backed Israeli crimes against Palestinians in Gaza Strip.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Kazem Seddiqi, in his Friday sermon, said the ongoing war against oppressed Palestinians in Gaza Strip reveals Israeli crimes backed by the United States, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The cleric demanded why the Arab governments do not cut off their ties with the Israeli regime and vowed that the victory for the resistance front is close.
 
He also referred to the parliamentary election held in Iran and said the 41 percent participation of the people was an honor in history of elections under the Islamic Republic.
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Seddiqi hailed those attending the parliamentary election despite a year of propaganda by enemies and the anti-revolution agents.
