An Iranian university professor said the occupation of Palestinian lands is the root cause of crisis, conflicts, division and backwardness in the region.
She made the comment in a speech at the international webinar on “International Quds Day and Necessity of Unity and Resistance for Victory in Palestine” held on Monday, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
She called the occupation of Palestine as the biggest challenge the world of Islam is suffering from and noted that the present situation in Gaza brings more responsibility for the Islamic nations.
She warned that in occupation of Palestine, the global Zionism aims to dominate and humiliate the entire world of Islam; therefore, to liberate Palestine stands for foiling the terrorist plot.
“International Quds Day is a smart innovative move by the late Imam Khomeini (RA) in order to unite Muslims on the basis of al-Quds and occupied Palestine”, she said.
She hailed the world nations for marking the International Quds Day despite Zionist and arrogant policy for marginalization of the issue of Palestine in people’s mind.
The Iranian researcher highlighted importance of the operation al-Aqsa Storm and said,” This operation will not be aborted by the crimes Israeli regime committed against the people, hospitals and schools.
She concluded that the Israeli crimes during the past six months are only instances of those committed against Palestinians during the past 75 years.
