A Lebanese author said the naming of International Quds Day by late Imam Khomeini (RA) aimed to boost solidarity among Muslims and world freedom-seeking nations.
Dalal Abbas, university professor from Lebanon, speaking at webinar entitled “International Quds Day and Necessity of Unity and Resistance for Victory in Palestine” said late Imam Khomeini (RA) introduced combatting colonialism and supporting the Palestinian objective as a religious mission, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
She said,” Imam Khomeini (RA) meant to set the International Quds Day the axis of unity among the freedom-seeking nations from all denominations.”
Lebanese university professor added that the operation al-Aqsa Storm categorized the world people, defamed the criminals and awakened the human conscience across the globe.
Still in another part of her speech she noted that the achievements made by Arabs in Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and Yemen were owed to the Islamic Republic and the principles founded by late Imam Khomeini (RA) now maintained by the Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei.
