The Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has congratulated Iran’s national wrestling team over winning of the Asian Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship.

In his congratulatory message, the Leader thanked the Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers and their couches for making the Iranian nation happy.

Iran national Greco-Roman wrestling team became Asia champion with 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 2 bronze medals Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Iranian Greco-Roman wrestling team stood on the top podium in Bishkek at the end of the Asian Wrestling Championships in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on Tuesday.

The landmark victory was the second Asian championship won by Iran in less than a week after the Iranian freestyle team won the title of the 2024 Asian Wrestling Championships on Friday for the sixth time in seven years.
