The Israeli authorities have issued a military decision to seize more than 60,000 meters of Palestinian land as part of its settlement expansion policy.

The decision targets a vital area of Al-Bouira north of the city of Hebron, a prelude to displacement of nearly 8,000 citizens to seize and control 800,000 square meters.

This decision comes in conjunction with settlement expansion, the pace of which has increased in light of the war on the Gaza Strip and attention has been drawn to it.

Meanwhile the mayor of Hebron, Tayseer Abu Sneineh, and a number of local officials held a meeting to denounce the decision warning of increasing daily violations and attacks by the colonialists against citizens.
 
They called on the international community and human rights institutions to intervene urgently to stop this blatant violation, which threatens the explosion of the situation in the region.
