The custodian of Imam Reza (AS) shrine in Iran said the ‘True Promise’ Operation has shattered the myths of Israel’s invincibility.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Ahmad Marvi, speaking in a meeting with mayors from across Iran, hailed Iranian armed forces for the retaliatory Operation True Promise as a source of pride for Iran, Taqrib News Agency (TNA)quoted Astan News as saying.
On April 13, Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) launched a retaliatory drone and missile strike against two Israeli military bases in response to the regime’s terrorist attack on Iranian consular building in Damascus earlier in the month.
The cleric said, “Of course, the operation was only a preliminary warning to the Israeli regime, its allies and those regional countries that are fearful of the regime that the ‘True Promise’, which is the annihilation of the occupying and criminal regime, will actually materialize”.
He stressed: “This operation has been the first warning from a Muslim country to the Israeli regime after some 60 years. Muslim countries have been scared of the regime during the past decades but now the Islamic Republic has ended this fear.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam Ahmad Marvi quoted the Leader of Islamic Republic saying that the Al-Aqsa Flood Operation, launched by Palestinian resistance fighters, has dealt a irreparable blow to the regime, and True Promise Operation has been a deadlier and bigger blow” adding that the it will expedite Israel’s annihilation”.
