A trail of death and destruction across the Gaza Strip as Israeli regime continues strikes against the besieged territory from air, sea and land.
Air strikes have heightened in Gaza’s southernmost area of Rafah and eastern areas of Khan Younis city as well as the Gaza City in the north causing death, injuries and destruction of civilian homes, Taqrib News Agency (TNA) quoted Palestinian media as saying.
Israeli ships and warplanes pounded sites in central coast in az-Zawayda Deir al-Balah and Nuseirat refugee camp destroying several residential buildings.
Gunboats also opened fire at dawn, attacking sites on the beaches in the three central Gaza areas.
In Rafah, which is now home to an estimated 1.4 million Palestinians, people fear an imminent Israeli ground invasion as the regime has vowed.
Several officials and international bodies have warned that any attack on the populated area would cause a catastrophe in the war-torn territory.
According to Palestinian Health Ministry, the death toll from 200 days of Israeli onslaughts against the besieged territory has mounted to over 34,150 with more than 77,000 others injured. Most of the casualties are children, women and the elderly.
Another 11,000 people are still missing and presumed to be dead under the rubble.
