Huj. Shahriari hails unifying efforts by Algerian Islamic council
The Secretary General of Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has hailed Bou Abdullah Gholamallah, the president of the Islamic Supreme Council of Algeri over his efforts in line with expansion of cooperation among Islamic countries.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, wrote in an article published in the book entitled “The Path and the Achievement” hailed Bou Abdullah Gholamallah as a man of eloquence, high thoughts and cultural awareness, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He underlined the cultural interconnection between Iran and the history of the Maghreb in general and Algeria in particular and said,” These deep roots and amalgamation of cultures are embedded in the nation's memory and are displayed even in our contemporary history.”
He added that the interconnectedness has also expressed itself in speeches, articles, researches and university thesis as well as through Algeria's mediation to resolve the problems between Iran and its neighbor Iraq as the Algeria paid a heavy price for its mediation.
The two Muslim scholars maintain long years of fraternal relations and are actively cooperating with the Fatwa Council.
Recently published by Algeria’s Saar Publication, the book “The Path and the Achievement” celebrates a prominent figure of the Algerian War on his 70th birth anniversary (1954-2024).
