Al-Sudani also hailed efforts to boost Islamic proximity and said, “Islamic proximity is specifically a humane, Islamic and Mohammadan mission.”
The Iraqi PM added,” We need a generation of youths and Islamic nations to maintain interaction with different denominations” and added,” Islamic denominations are close and share several commonalities.”

He condemned the brutal atrocities against the Palestinians and said the initiatives and condemnations are disproportionate with the crimes committed in Gaza.

The delegation of Iranian scholars led by Dr Hamid Shahriari met with the Iraqi Prime Minister on the sideline of the second International Islamic Unity Conference entitled “Al-Aqsa Flood, Issues and Identity” organized by al-Rebat al-Mohammadi Scholars Society in the capital Baghdad.
