At least 63 Palestinians have lost their lives and 114 others injured as a result of Israeli intense air and artillery shelling on the Gaza Strip during past 24 hours, according to Palestinian Health Ministry.
Palestinian media reported that the Israeli occupation army continued to bomb homes in different areas of Gaza during the past 24 hours, amid escalating incursions in Rafah, Jabalia and az-Zeitoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
According to media sources, 12 martyrs and several wounded civilians had been evacuated to the Kamal Adwan Hospital during the past hours as a result of overnight Israeli attacks on northern Gaza.
Medical and civil defense crews are still making efforts to search for other victims under the rubble of bombed homes in northern Gaza.
To the center of the besieged Gaza Strip, an unknown number of casualties were reported following Israeli attacks on two homes in Gaza City.
Rescue teams were unable to reach the bombed areas in Gaza City and on Salahuddin road because of the intensity of Israeli attacks.
Besides the large number of casualties and the huge displacement of people, basic food, fuel, water and medical supplies have run out for the 2.3 million residents in Gaza due to the tight Israeli blockade and the massive destruction of infrastructure and facilities.
At least 35,034 people have been killed and 78,755 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. The revised death toll in Israel from Hamas’s October 7 attacks stands at 1,139 with dozens of people still held captive.
At least 300,000 Palestinians have evacuated Gaza’s Rafah, some of them displaced more than once, according to the United Nations, as Israel expands its offensive in the southern city.
