The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei has toured the 35th Tehran International Book Fair on Monday.

Ayatollah Khamenei stressed facilitating publication of books and promoting book reading as important missions for authorities, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
In the visit to the different sections of the Book Fair, the Leader called on the netizens to promote books and reading habits via social networks.
 
Ayatollah Khamenei also emphasized necessity of publication of books for the younger generation particularly on turning points in Iran’s history including on Constitutional Revolution, Holy Defense, the Islamic Revolution and some unique characters like late Imam Khomeini (RA).
 
In an interview following the leader’s visit, Ayatollah Khamenei said personal passion for books and also promoting reading among people as reasons for Monday visit to the 35^th Tehran International Book Fair.
