The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has met with Turkey’s president of the Directorate of Religious Affairs, Ali Erbas, in Istanbul stressing that the bilateral ties between the two countries will benefit the entire world of Islam.
Dr Hamid Shahriari, in this meeting hailed the Muslim World Scholars’ Constitution Summit which was recently held in the city of Istanbul, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The Iranian cleric announced readiness of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought for implementing its responsibility to boost the solidarity among Muslim clerics in the region and across the globe.
The cleric also invited Ali Erbas to attend the upcoming Islamic Unity Conference to be held in Tehran concurrent with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
The President of the Directorate of Religious Affairs for his part expressed gratitude over Iran’s participation in the Muslim World Scholars’ Constitution Summit held in Istanbul on May 13-14.
