A senior member of Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement has hailed the late Iranian president for his approach that led to boosting unity in the world of Islam.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hassan Baghdadi, member of the central council of Hezbollah, in his remarks at webinar on “Martyr Raeisi; Harbinger of Unity, Man of Resistance” expressed condolences over the martyrdom of Iranian president in a helicopter crash on May 19, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” Late President Raeisi set peace as prelude to all his efforts” and added that the feature accredited the late president among different countries.
According to the Lebanese cleric, late President Raeisi had noted the inter-relatedness of the Islamic denominations and that all issues among Muslims should be settled through the very five schools of thought.
“He had noted that no issue bothered these Islamic denominations or arrayed them in a war against each other but the intrigues hatched by the west and enemies of Islam”, continued Hujjat-ul-Islam Baghdadi.
Hezbollah member emphasized the efforts by the late Iranian president and Muslim scholars to build friendship, solidarity and cooperation within the Islamic nation.
The senior Lebanese cleric made the comments at the online meeting of the Muslim scholars from across the world of Islam held by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought on Sunday.
