US protesters condemn presidential candidates’ unwavering support for Israel amid genocidal Gaza war
The demonstrators chanted slogans to voice strong opposition to the candidates' remarks on the Palestinian issue, which they argue must be a priority for the next president to achieve stability and peace in the region.
Protesters marched through several areas in Manhattan, demanding an end to the genocide in Gaza and calling for the cessation of financial and military aid and weapon shipments to Israel, which facilitate further crimes against the Palestinian people.
Additionally, activists rallied outside a fundraiser for President Joe Biden's reelection campaign, where he was present, denouncing his continued support for the genocide.
In a social media post, activists stated that " Anyone supporting genocide will be met with protests wherever they go."
Another protest rally was held near the debate site in Georgia Atlanta when the two candidates were exchanging barbs during the first presidential debate on Thursday night.
During the debate, former president Donald Trump, said that Joe Biden should let Israeli regime ‘finish the job’ in Gaza, signaling a plan by Benjamin Netanyahu to eliminate Hamas resistance movement.
