Taghribnews (TNA) - "Hollow Hegemon": IRGC Chief Proclaims Diminution of U.S. Power

Major General Hossein Salami, the chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), declared that Iran has significantly weakened the power of the United States over the past decades, rendering it "small and weak."

Salami attributed the erosion of U.S. power directly to the impacts of Iran's Islamic Revolution. He also discussed Iran's resilience against attempts to isolate the country, mentioning specific incidents where Iran responded with retaliatory measures.

Further emphasizing the notion of global perspective, Salami stated, "The world is much bigger than the US and that the US is much smaller than the world," suggesting a diminishing global dominance of the United States. He also referenced recent Iranian elections, noting increased voter turnout as evidence of the nation's capability to defy external pressures and expectations.
