"The Palestinian cause form the true test for those who call for democracy"
Beirut - Taqrib News Agency (TNA) - Lebanon's Islamic Movement Hezbollah in a statement condemned US President Barack Obama speech at the UN, which reflected absolute bias to the Zionist entity.
"US President Barack Obama pro-zionist and bias speech at the UN General Assembly was not surprising, as it included a threat to veto efforts by the Palestinian Authority to announce the establishment of a Palestinian state, " the statement read.
Shock, disappointment, and other similar expressions are sentiments of those who were expecting a different stance from the US administration regarding an issue that is less than the least rights of the Palestinian people.
"As for the sons of the nation, who know the nature of the ruling regime in the US that is moving parallel with the Zionist projects, were expecting such attitudes totally adopting continuous Zionist aggression on our people and our region. Hizbullah therefore condemns the hostile attitudes against our nation issued by the US, which claims to ensure democracy and human rights. Hizbullah puts these positions upon those who bid to talk about US administration support to right and justice principles, and upon those who promote the notion of resorting to Washington in order to restore our wasted rights and protect our country from the exacerbation of Zionist threats, " according to the statement.
It is enough for the US President Barak Obama to receive the "Badge of Honor" from the Prime Minister of the usurper entity over his biased stances, to make it clear what these stances represent of oppression against our legitimate rights, and assault against the hopes and aspirations of our people.
The positions of Mr. Obama are a repetition of previous positions that are unmistakably noticed by a conscious eye. It is a good indicator of the true US stance regarding the Arab revolutions, with its claim to support the principles of democracy, human rights, liberation, and independence.
That is because the situation of the Palestinian cause and the rights of the oppressed Palestinians resemble the true test for those who call for justice and democracy.
When one fails to stand by these rights, one is naturally placing himself on the side of the oppressors and arrogant powers, and those who are against peoples' rights anywhere in the world.
