An Iranian cleric has stressed that the martyrdom of Hamas politburo leader, Ismail Haniyeh, will further boost the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Palestine.
Mamusta Abbad Ahmadi, prayer leader of Bukan city in West Azarbaijan province, has expressed condolences over the martyrdom of Hamas leader to the great Palestinian nation, Hamas resistance movement and the parties and countries supporting the Palestinian cause, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said,” The pure blood of the tireless fighter who spent his entire life in honorable fight against the Israeli regime, liberation of the Palestinian nation and also freedom of the holy Quds will never be wasted.”
Mamusta Ahmadi stressed that the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, will further boost the relation between the Islamic Republic of Iran, Palestine and the resistance front.
The message by Iranian Sunni scholar comes after the Hamas politburo leader, Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in his residence in the Iranian capital Tehran early on Wednesday.
The Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, issued a message vowing harsh revenge for the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh.
Ayatollah Khamenei performed the funeral prayer for the Hamas leader on Thursday morning before a massive funeral procession was held in the Iranian capital.
