The UN Special Rapporteur on Torture, Alice Gil Edwards, has condemned the sexual assault of a Palestinian prisoner by Israeli occupation soldiers in Israel’s Sde Teiman.

She said that this alleged sexual torture involving many perpetrators is particularly appalling, stressing continued efforts to press for accountability for all allegations of torture and other cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment or punishment during the war on Gaza.
