The United Kingdom’s Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) says it has received reports that its ship has been hit by projectiles off Yemen’s port city of Hudaydah.

The organization says the authorities on the ship reported the vessel was hit by three projectiles and added that there were no casualties.
 
The report comes in the wake of an Israeli airstrike on Yemeni port city of Hudaydah that killed one and left dozens injured.
 
Since November, Yemen’s Ansarullah movement has launched operations, in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, targeting the ships heading for Israeli-occupied ports in the Palestinian lands in support of the Palestinians under the Israeli regime’s brutal attacks since October 2023.
 
In response the coalition of US and UK have carried out several attacks against Yemen claiming the move means to protect international shipping.
