The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, has called for global protests on Friday to voice support for the Palestinians suffering Israeli atrocities in Gaza and al-Quds and the al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a statement on Wednesday, Hamas called on the Palestinians to “head to Al-Aqsa Mosque on that date and stay there to deter the Zionist extremists’ attempts to storm the Muslims’ holy site and to thwart its division plans.”
In a statement marking the 55th anniversary of the crime of burning Al-Aqsa Mosque, Hamas appealed to the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nation to strengthen their support for the Palestinians in Gaza and Jerusalem.
Hamas recalled the details of the burning of Al-Aqsa Mosque by a Jewish extremist in 1969, stressing that the Palestinians will continue to defend their holy sites, their homeland, and the identity and history of the city of Jerusalem and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
