The Commissioner of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) philippe Lazzarini has denounced the Israeli regime for killing 150 Palestinian children in the occupied West Bank since October 7 attacks on the besieged Gaza Strip.
Lazzarini quoted UNICEF’s figures as confirming that more than 150 Palestinian children were killed in the West Bank since the war started on October 7.
He pointed out that UNRWA has suspended its services to the communities in several West Bank camps due to the Israeli military operation.
Tens of thousands of people in four refugee camps have been impacted by this operation, including through the destruction of public and private infrastructure, he added.
Tensions have intensified in the occupied West Bank since Israeli regime began its genocidal war against the besieged Gaza Strip under the pretext of fighting Hamas resistance movement.
