9 Sep 2024 - 20:30

The Indonesian and Kamal Adwan hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip warned on Monday that they would be out of service due to the depletion of fuel needed to operate their departments, in light of the continued Israeli siege and bombardment, and the prevention of fuel entry.

He added that the operating rooms operate around the clock without stopping, but he warned that the hospital is facing a severe fuel shortage, which threatens to completely stop medical services if the occupation continues to prevent the entry of fuel.
Kamal Adwan Hospital also warned that it would be out of service within 48 hours due to the depletion of fuel and medical supplies.
The hospital said in a brief statement that this poses a major threat to the lives of many patients and injured people receiving treatment at the hospital.
These warnings come amid a severe crisis experienced by health facilities in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the continued destructive aggression and the tight and continuous siege on the northern Gaza Strip, and the occupation’s refusal to allow the entry of fuel, medicines and medical supplies.
