The press conference for the 38th Islamic Unity Conference is set to be held on Saturday a day ahead of the first section of the annual event.

The Secretary General of Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, will give more details on the upcoming event and will take the questions in a meeting scheduled to be held at the University of Islamic Denominations, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
The 38^th edition of the Islamic Unity Conference is entitled "Islamic cooperation to achieve common values with an emphasis on the Palestinian issue".
 
More than 200 Shia and Sunni scholars will exchange views on the ongoing conditions in the world of Islam and the most important issues in the world of Islam.
 
The Palestine issue has been on top of the agenda in the annual meeting however the issue is particularly in the spotlight as the regime’s genocidal war on the besieged Gaza is close to mark its first anniversary.
