The Friday prayer leader of Sunni community in Urmia city, Iran, said whenever the Israeli regime finds its desperation in front of the resistance axis, then it carries out assassination strike against a top resistance leader.

Mamusta Kalashi Nejad, in his speech at the eighth webinar of the 38^th Islamic Unity Conference on Tuesday referred to the Israeli assassination of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, the top counter-terror commander of Iran’s Quds Forces and Ismail Haniyeh, the Polit bureau chief of Hamas as two instances of the regime’s desperation, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He referred to establishment of extremist groups under the name of Islam led by the world colonial powers and said,” Enemies intended to push the intellectuals converting to Islam to trackback; therefore, they staged war in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria as part of their plans for Islamophobia and fight against Islam.”
 
 
The Iranian Sunni scholar said the enemies in global revealing of the crimes by Daesh terrorist group was to promote Islamophobia and noted stressed that whenever the Israeli regime finds its desperation in front of the resistance it carries out an assassination against a resistance figure.
 
He referred to the ongoing Israeli atrocities against the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip and said,” Time will have no mercy on those silent against these crimes.”
 
Mamusta Kalashi Nejad referred to the secret meetings of the Israeli officials held after the 33-day war in Lebanon where they concluded that they needed a means to divide the Shia and Sunni Muslims.
 
The prominent Iranian scholar made the remarks in an online meeting of the Shia and Sunni intellectuals held as the first part of the Islamic Unity Conference on "Islamic cooperation to achieve common values with an emphasis on the Palestinian issue".
 
More than 200 university professors, thinkers and activists attend the online section of the conference ahead of the second section which will be participated by hundreds of religious leaders and officials from across the world of Islam in the Iranian capital Tehran on September 19-21.
