Mansoor L. Limba, a university professor from the Philippines has described the Palestinian cause as the heartbeat of Muslim Ummah.
Limba made comments at the tenth webinar of the 38th edition of the International Islamic Unity Conference.
The Palestinian cause is the paramount issue confronting the Muslim world today, he said, calling the Palestinian resistance the catalyst of ummatic unity.
At the core of the Palestinian resistance is the sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy city of Al-Quds, he underscored.
The Zionist regime is an assault on Muslims' dignity and a challenge to their identity, he added.
The Palestinian resistance is a testament to the Muslim brotherhood that transcends borders, languages, and ethnicities, he noted.
He went on to say that the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Palestine is our suffering.
“How can Islamic Ummah remain silent when our brothers and sisters in Palestine face daily aggression, occupation, and dispossession?”
It is in the Palestinian resistance that we find the catalyst for Ummatic unity, he further noted.
“In the face of a common enemy, our differences fade away, and our shared identity as Muslims comes to the fore.”
The Palestinian cause has the unique ability to unite the Ummah, to bring together diverse sects, nations, and movements under the banner of justice, he said.
