Muslims must foil foes’ plots through unity, says Malaysia

Abdul Hadi Awang, Member of the House of Representatives of Malaysia has advised all Muslims to be united to overcome the schemes of the enemies.


“Al-Quds is situated in the heart of Islamic world”, said Awang at the 38th International Islamic Unity Conference scheduled which kicked off In Tehran.

Unfortunately, certain countries support the Zionist regime, he pointed out.

Islamic countries must put the differences aside, he said, calling for the necessity of unity among
Muslim states.

He hailed the Islamic Republic of Iran for taking concrete steps to hold the international conference on Islamic unity.

The new edition of the conference entitled “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values with an Emphasis on Palestine Issue” opened at the Islamic Conference Hall on Thursday September 19.

More than 150 elites, prayer leaders, intellectuals and activists from across the world attend the conference underway on September 19-21 with the main focus of the event on the issue of Palestine.
 
The major Islamic event is annually held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in part of efforts for the Muslim intellectuals to convene and discuss the developments across the world of Islam.
