Ali Abu Shahin, a member of the Palestine's Islamic Jihad movement says that the Islamic unity can be attained considering Al-Quds and Palestine.
The Zionist regime seeks to create rift in the world, said Abu Shahin at the 38th International Islamic Unity Conference scheduled which kicked off In Tehran.
The grief and pains that Palestinians are going through have deeply saddened the Muslims, he stated.
Al-Aqsa Storm Operation indicated that the Palestinian cause is still the main concern of the Muslims worldwide, he noted.
True Promise Operation was the culmination of the Resistance, he underlined.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Abu Shahin touched on the developments in Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen.
The crimes against the countries are being committed before the eyes of the international community, he further noted.
The new edition of the conference entitled “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values with an Emphasis on Palestine Issue” opened at the Islamic Conference Hall on Thursday September 19.
More than 150 elites, prayer leaders, intellectuals and activists from across the world attend the conference underway on September 19-21 with the main focus of the event on the issue of Palestine.
The major Islamic event is annually held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in part of efforts for the Muslim intellectuals to convene and discuss the developments across the world of Islam.
