The Iranian and international guests to the 38th Islamic unity conference have visited the mausoleum of late Imam Khomeini to renew vows with the high objectives of the founder of the Islamic revolution.
The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari hailed the role of the late Imam Khomeini in promoting the Islamic revolution, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He highlighted the capacities of Muslim women in supporting the Islamic Revolution.
The participants to the Islamic Unity Conference visit the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini (RA) to pay tribute to the late founder of Islamic revolution and hail his support for the Islamic unity.
This year the meeting of the guests to the 38th Islamic Unity Conference to the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini was held on the first day of the event.
Earlier in the day the 38th Islamic Unity Conference entitled “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values with Emphasis on Palestine Issue” began its work.
More than 200 Shia and Sunni scholars from across the globe have converged in the Iranian capital Tehran to exchange their views on a host of developments in the world of Islam with the issue of Palestine in the spotlight.
