The foreign participants of the 38th International Islamic Unity Conference have called for the importance of the Palestinian cause amid genocidal war in the Gaza Strip.
The foreign participants of the 38th International Islamic Unity Conference underway in Tehran held a meeting on Friday with the Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Hamid Shahriari, in attendance.
As part of the conference, the attendees exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments.
The scholars and elites from various countries attached paramount importance to the ongoing war in the enclave.
Seyyed Ali Fazl Allah, an analyst from Lebanon, stressed the need to put an end to the brutal war in the Strip.
The Israeli regime is putting the region in danger, he said, underling the need to confront the Zionists.
Abdul Qadir Alousi, an expert from Iraq, called for the necessity of delivering assistance to the nation of Palestine.
Muhammad al-Asi, another participant in the event, said that all Muslims should unite to help the nation of Palestine.
Mustafa Kaya, a parliamentarian from Turkey, stated that the Zionist regime is seeking to achieve its objectives.
To advance its goals, the regime pays no attention to the religions of the nations.
The new edition of the conference entitled “Islamic Cooperation to Achieve Common Values with an Emphasis on Palestine Issue” opened at the Islamic Conference Hall on Thursday September 19.
More than 150 elites, prayer leaders, intellectuals and activists from across the world attend the conference underway on September 19-21 with the main focus of the event on the issue of Palestine.
The major Islamic event is annually held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in part of efforts for the Muslim intellectuals to convene and discuss the developments across the world of Islam.
