A member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts said if the world of Islam maintain unity among themselves the arrogant powers cannot infiltrate or threaten the Islamic territories or loot their assets.

Ayatollah Ahmad Beheshti, in his speech at the 14^th webinar of the 38^th Islamic Unity Conference, said in the light of Islamic unity, Muslim can rule the world rather than being doomed to be eliminated or controlled, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” The essence of Islamic unity is the belief in holy Qur’an, the same Qibla (praying direction) and same holy book” and stressed,” Such solidarity must not be undermined by difference in ethnicity or nationality.”
 
He called on the Muslims to maintain unity because disunity will empower the “Zionist enemies” and its agents to dominate the Muslim world.
 
Ayatollah Ahmad Beheshti made the remarks at the webinar of the 38^th Islamic Unity Conference entitled "Islamic cooperation to achieve common values with an emphasis on the Palestinian issue".
 
The 38^th Islamic Unity Conference is held in two sections: first the online conferences held on September 16-19 with more than 200 Shia and Sunni scholars and elites from across the globe exchanging their views on the developments across the world of Islam.
 
The second section of the meeting is held in the Iranian capital Tehran on September 19-21 with hundreds of religious leaders and officials in attendance.
