A senior Sunni scholar from the Islamic Republic of Iran said the axes of resistance, in its confrontation with the Israeli regime in its atrocities against the besieged Gaza is pursuing divine and humane objectives.

Mamusta Sayyed Mustafa Khatami, in his address at the 14th webinar of the 38^th Islamic Unity Conference, quoted verses from the holy Qur’an demanding Muslims to help each other in their fight against the oppressors, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” The resistance front has two main goals: first is the divine objective and the second one is the human objective.”
 
According to the prominent Iranian cleric, the crimes by the Israeli regime are the reason for many to confront the occupying regime of Israel.
 
The senior cleric made the comments in the first section of the 38^th Islamic Unity Conference held bu Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
 
The annual conference with the theme “cooperation to achieve common values with an emphasis on the Palestinian issue", the second section of the conference is scheduled to be held on September 19-21.
