Hujjat-ul-Islam Syed Mohsen Taqwi, an expert from India, has lauded the initiative put forward by the late Imam Khomeini (RA), the founder of the Islamic Republic, on Islamic unity.

Taqwi has made the remarks At the sixth webinar of the 38th International Islamic Unity Conference scheduled to be held on September 14-21.

He called for further action that need to be taken by Islamic countries.

While non-Islamic countries are united the Islamic countries lack enough unity, he underlined.

No power has halted the Israeli regime from committing atrocities, he added.

He went on to say that the situation of human rights in Palestine is disastrous.

Millions of Palestine have been displaced, he said, adding that the nation of Palestine is in dire need of food and medicine.

The Israeli regime has repeatedly violated human rights, he said.

It is strange that Muslim countries have not been united in action despite the fact that its necessity is crystal clear, he further noted.
