Israeli atrocities in Gaza unprecedented in history: Iranian expert

16 Sep 2024 - 17:29

Molavi Nazir Ahmad Salami, a prominent Iranian Sunni cleric, has described the crimes committed by the Israeli regime in the Gaza Strip as unprecedented.

The ongoing war in the Gaza Strip has resulted in the martyrdom of the Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, said Salami in a series of webinars at the fifth webinar of the 38th edition of the International Islamic Unity Conference.

He hailed the status of Martyr Haniyeh, terming the deceased figure as a pillar.

He lambasted the assassination of Haniyeh, calling the crime unprecedented.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he touched on the significance of the trio of Persian Gulf Islands namely Abu Musa, Greater Tunb, and Lesser Tunb.

All historical documents prove that the trio islands belong to the Islamic Republic.

He went on to say that all neighboring countries confirm Iran’s right in this regard.

However, littoral states repeatedly claim that the trio islands belong to the Arab countries.

The Israeli regime and Zionism are behind this plot, he further noted.
