According to eye witnesses, several people have been injured, a number of them in critical condition, as the police fired teargas to disperse the protesters heading for the US embassy.

The protesters carried Palestinian and Hezbollah flags shouting mottoes in condemnation of the US support for the Israel amid the regime’s atrocities in the region.

The protests erupted following the Friday Israeli massive airstrikes targeting residential buildings in Dhahia in southern suburbs of Beirut that assassinated a number of top officials from the Lebanese resistance movement.

People across the globe have held rallies to denounce the Israeli regime atrocities against the Palestinians in Gaza and also the recent escalation in Lebanon.

Karachi has been scene of several pro-Palestine rallies since the Israeli regime unleashed its genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip early in October 2023 leaving more than 41,000 civilians dead and nearly 100,000 others injured, most of them women and children.
