The Yemeni Armed Forces, aligned with the Houthis, have announced that their naval, missile and air forces have carried out three military operations in the Red Sea, Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea.
“In the second operation, the Marathopolis vessel was targeted in the Indian Ocean with a cruise missile.”
“The third operation targeted the Marathopolis again, due to its violation of the entry ban on the occupied Palestinian ports, while it was sailing in the Yemeni Armed Forces’ operational zone in the Arabian Sea, northeast of the Socotra Archipelago. The ship was hit directly by a drone,” the spokesperson stated.
The Yemeni Armed Forces asserted in their statement that they would continue their military operations and maintain the naval blockade on Israel-linked vessels. These operations will not cease until the aggression on Gaza ends, the blockade is lifted and the aggression against Lebanon is halted, they have previously declared.
