Israeli warplanes launched more than 30 intensive airstrikes in various areas of southern Beirut in the early hours of Sunday, marking one of the most violent nights since Israel’s escalation of its onslaught on Lebanon on September 23.
The targeted locations included a Total fuel station along the Airport Road, a building on al-Barjawy Street in the Ghobeiri area, and various neighborhoods such as al-Zahrani, Burj al-Barajneh, Shweifat, the American neighborhood, Mrayjeh, al-Laylaki, and Haret Hreik.
Yesterday, agency reported a tragic increase in casualties due to the ongoing Israeli assaults over the last few days on the central Beqaa Valley and the Baalbek-Hermel region, eastern Lebanon, with the death toll then reaching 282 and 777 injured.
