Some three thousand Sunni clerics across Iran have sent a letter to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, to hail the retaliatory missile strike on Israel.

The clerics lauded the retaliatory strike that targeted the military and intelligence sites in the occupied territories dubbed as Operation True Promise II, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Part of the letter to the Leader reads:” We, a group of Friday prayer leaders of the Sunni communities in Iran, servants of holy Qur’an and Islamic teachings and followers of unity, express our utmost appreciation for the enlightening remarks and sermons in October 4^th Tehran Friday prayer and also express our gratitude for the victorious Operation True Promise II by the IRGC and armed forces against the infanticide and occupying regime of Israel.”
 
The letter by the Iranian Sunni clerics came on the first anniversary of the Israeli genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip.
 
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, in its October 1^st retaliatory strike, launched 180 missiles against Israel in a response to the assassination of the resistance leaders and also Israeli atrocities targeting the besieged Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
 
More than 90 percent of the missiles have successfully hit their target as the Israeli regime defense systems failed to intercept the missiles.
