Over two dozen Palestinians killed, several injured in latest Israeli strikes across Gaza

8 Oct 2024 - 14:39

Nearly 25 Palestinian civilians have been killed and several more injured as the Israeli regime pushes ahead with its relentless strikes across the besieged Gaza for over a year now.

Eyewitnesses said that a number of civilians were lying on the ground in the streets and alleys of Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, as civil defense crews were unable to rescue them due to the continuous Israeli occupation bombing.

He pointed out that the occupation forces broke into the area north of Jabalia camp as the bombing continues in various areas of the camp.

Palestinian media pointed out that the occupation snipers and "Quadcopter" aircraft are shooting at anyone moving in the camp as the occupation forces bombed a food warehouse.

According to Israeli media, the occupation army is studying a plan to turn the northern Gaza Strip into a military zone by forcing about 200,000 citizens to move from the northern Gaza Strip to the south, to keep the area under full occupation control.

To the southern parts of the besieged Gaza Strip, eight citizens were killed and others were injured on Tuesday when an Israeli drone bombed a gathering of civilians at a water filling station north of Rafah city.

Eyewitnesses indicated that a drone targeted a group of citizens while they were at a water filling point in the Khirbet al-Adas area, which resulted in the killing and injury of many in the area.

The occupation forces have continued the brutal, deadly aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, since October 7, 2023, which has resulted in the killing of 41,965 citizens, and the injury of 97,590 others, the majority of whom are children and women.

More than 10,000 bodies are believed buried in the vast destruction of downed buildings from Israeli attacks, meaning the death toll is likely far higher.
