A US-based Muslim scholar underlined Islamic unity as the condition for Muslims to enter holy al-Aqsa Mosque.
Mohammad al-Asi, speaking at the 16th webinar of the 38th Islamic Unity Conference said the world is witnessing the US-backed Israeli crimes only because these people were born there, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The Muslim scholar noted that resolving the issue of Palestine and the massive destruction caused by the Zionist imperialism necessitates solidarity and trust in the God Almighty.
Mohammad al-Asi called on all Muslims to leave behind the minor issues and focus on the commonalities in order to achieve unity.
He noted that Muslims can reach the holy al-Aqsa Mosque only when they are united.
The prominent scholar made the remarks in an online meeting of the Shia and Sunni clerics and elites from across the globe.
