The head of the Society of Muslim scholars from Algiers underlined importance of unity in the Islamic nation calling solidarity as best way in confrontation with the ‘barbaric, criminal Zionist enemy’.

Speaking at the 16^th webinar of the 38^th Islamic Unity Conference, Abdulrazaq Qassoum defined Islamic unity as a guarantee in confrontation with the challenges ahead of the Islamic nation, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” The biggest challenge for the Islamic nation is the criminal measures by the Israeli regime and its massacre of the Muslims in Gaza, Iraq, Yemen and other parts of the world.”
 
He noted,” Islamic unity is valuable only when all Muslim scholars convene and endeavor to establish the principles for an unshakable solidarity amongst them.”
 
The Algerian scholar reiterated importance of acknowledging the people on Islamic unity and eliminate anything that might damage it.
 
Abdulrazaq Qassoum emphasized that any religious or ethnical disagreements must further enhance stability and Islamic unity.
 
He also stressed the role of Muslim clerics in protection of Islamic unity against damages.
