Iran's UN Mission Rejects Allegations over Tehran-Hamas Ties

13 Oct 2024 - 18:28

Iran's representation at the United Nations following the spread of lies, psychological operations, deception, and fake documents and claims of the Israeli regime regarding Hamas' request for 500 million dollars from Iran, stated that Tehran considers the Israeli regime to be a lying and anti-human criminal regime, and there is no credit for its illusions.

From this, the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations on Saturday local time in response to the questions of the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal about the Israeli regime's access to documents regarding Iran's knowledge of the October 7 operation, said: "In a situation where the Hamas officials based in Doha have declared that they were not aware of this operation and that the design, decision and management of the said operation was solely the responsibility of the military branch of Hamas based in Gaza, any kind of claim that links this operation to Iran or Hezbollah, either in part or in general, has no validity and is considered fabricated lie."

On October 7, 2023, the Palestinian resistance groups launched a surprise operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" from Gaza (southern Palestine) against the positions of the Israeli regime. A four-day temporary truce was established between Israel and Hamas, for the exchange of prisoners between Hamas and Israel. This temporary ceasefire lasted for seven days and finally ended on December 10, 2023, and the Israeli regime resumed attacks on Gaza.
The Al-Aqsa Flood operation took place after years of the Israeli regime's crimes against the oppressed Palestinian people. To retaliate for its failure and failure in this operation, the Israeli regime not only keeps bombing Gaza and refuses to accept any ceasefire, but also seeks to expand tension in the West Asian (Middle East) region. According to the announcement of the Gaza Ministry of Health, the attacks of the Israeli occupying regime have led to the martyrdom of 42 thousand 175 people and injured more than 98 thousand people.
