The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought stressed that Iran’s support for the war on Israel is due to the regime’s massacre of more than 42,000 civilians in Gaza.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, speaking at the conference on martyrs of religious minorities in Iran, said the Islamic Republic means to support the world oppressed people and thousands of civilians killed by Israeli regime in the region, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said,” The ongoing wars today are sparked due to the injustice across the globe that bring closer the entire world to the outbreak of the World War III.”
 
The cleric noted,” Today, a tyrant like the United States is using religious means to tarnish the image of justice”, and added,” Our defense in a likely war in future is justified and that is massacre of more than 40,000 innocent people in the region as our intention is to defend the world oppressed people.”
 
He said,” War is our last option but once we are pushed towards a war, then we will fight to our last breath and once we persevere to the last moment, then victory will certainly belong to us.”
 
The Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought made the remarks in his speech at the conference on martyrs of the religious minorities held in Iran’s city of Shiraz, Fars Province, on Monday night.
 
The conference hailed nearly 150 martyrs from religious minorities in Shiraz who sacrificed their lives during the Islamic Revolution and the imposed Iraq war.
