Taghribnews (TNA) - Iran President: BRICS Achievements Foils Plots by US, Its Allies

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, referring to the alliance of the BRICS member countries to end US unilateralism, said that by implementing what was decided at the BRICS summit, the plots of the US and its partner countries would be neutralized over time.

Pezeshkian, noting the important tasks of BRICS, stressed: "Security, economic and social issues, people's participation, and finally financial issues were the most important issues that were discussed at the BRICS summit."

Emphasizing that participation in the BRICS and BRICS Plus summits brought good achievements, the Iranian president said that this was the first BRICS summit where Iran was present as a new and real BRICS member.
During the BRICS summit in Russia, the Iranian president noted the presence of 30 observer countries and 6 international organizations. He stated, "BRICS aims to challenge the United States' unilateralism concerning the dollar, as this country can manipulate any nation whenever it chooses."
He pointed out that the US wants to impose sanctions and add to the world's economic problems.
